Physical Therapy in Houston After a Work Injury or a Wreck

Hurt at work or in a wreck in Houston? Injury Centers of Texas offers physical therapy, water therapy and get-back-to-work training. You don't pay. Insurance does.

You can't lift like you used to, stairs hurt, or your shoulder won't go all the way up. Maybe your case needs proof of what you can and can't do yet. Physical therapy here is exercises and hands-on care to fix what hurts, then training to build your strength back up so you can do your job again.

What to do first this week

  1. Write down what you can't do since the injury: lifting, bending, stairs, sleeping, driving.
  2. Hurt at work? Tell your employer in writing this week and keep a copy. In a car wreck? Keep your claim number.
  3. Call us at (832) 801-5099. In one phone call we tell you what to bring and which clinic to come to.

What happens at your first visit

  1. Call us first

Call (832) 801-5099. One number serves both clinics, and calling costs nothing. We answer in English and Spanish.

  2. Tell us what you can't do

Tell us how you were hurt, what still hurts and what you need to be able to do again, at work and at home.

  3. Start with what hurts

Physical therapy is exercises and hands-on care to fix what hurts. Water therapy is healing in a pool, easy on painful joints.

  4. Build back up

Get-back-to-work training builds your strength back up so you can do your job again. Work-readiness tests give proof of what you can and can't do yet. Your case may need this.

Who pays for physical therapy after an injury?

Hurt at work? Workers' comp covers your treatment. Not you. When the carrier approves your care, it costs you nothing.

Hurt in a car or truck wreck? We treat you now. The insurance company pays later, not you.

Not sure how your case is covered? Call us. We'll tell you in one phone call. It's free to ask.
